Four Wheel Bicycle Trailer Axle

This is a replacement axle for our AD- and AWD-series bike trailers. It is similar to our standard bicycle trailer axle, but has double the weight capacity because it uses dual wheels on each end instead of single wheels. The body diameter is larger (1.315" / 33.4 mm overall diamter) to increase its load capacity. Each end is the same diameter as the standard axle (5/8" / 16 mm) but 2.5" / 6.3 cm longer to accommodate the extra wheel. It uses the same 16" Skyway Tuffwheel (see related products). One pair of wheel retainer pins and spacers is included.

Available in two different lengths, standard (for AD trailers) and long (for AWD trailers). Specify which length you need in the "special instructions" box during the checkout process.
